What We Believe

At Dogtime Pet Services, we believe that dogs are happiest when they have strong friendships and regular contact with other dogs. Our philosophy is centered around your dog's natural behaviours. We tailor our sessions to suit your dog's energy and personality requirements to maximise the fun and socialisation they receive.

We believe that all dogs have a right to feel safe and cared for. A normal dog will be happy and comfortable in a balanced pack, and will seek to fit in with the rules and activites of the pack. We believe that it is important for all dogs to have experience in socialising with other dogs and people. We will do our best to help all dogs within our care achieve a natural equilibrium of good mood, manners and exercise. We achieve this through verbal commands, praise and liberal distribution of dog treats.

Areas

Dog walking, Dog Socialisation and Holiday care

We operate in the Bayside, Kingston and Greater Dandenong councils - but even if we don't operate near where you live, we may still be able to refer you to another service that does.

Dog Behavioural adjustment, Dog Training and coaching

We operate in all suburbs of Melbourne.

Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel scheduled sessions on short notice to prevent the spread of contagious diseases such as kennel cough, or if the outside temperature is too hot to safely exercise in. Payment already made will be used for the next session unless stipulated otherwise. Sessions in wet weather will not be cancelled unless requested by the client.

Emergency

All clients must provide at least two emergency contact numners in the event of an emergency occuring whilst your dog is in our care. If such an emergency does occur, your dog's care is paramount to us and every measure will be taken to ensure that he or she receives veterinary attention as quickly as possible.

Insurance

Dogtime Pet Services is fully covered with public liability insurance, which covers dogs under our care. However this is designed for major incidents rather than minor injury. Dogtime does not accept responsibility for accidental loss or injury.
